Refund Policy

1. Overview

oneBot operates on a credit-based, pay-as-you-go billing model. You purchase credits in advance, and those credits are consumed in real time as your bot performs tasks, sends messages, and uses AI models and skills.

This Refund Policy explains how this model works and under what circumstances refunds may be issued.

2. How Credits Work

  • Credits are purchased in advance through your oneBot dashboard
  • Each action your bot takes — such as sending a message, running a skill, or calling an AI model — consumes a specific number of credits based on the resources used
  • Credit usage is transparent and tracked in real time in your dashboard
  • Credits do not expire — unused credits remain in your account indefinitely as long as your account is active

3. No-Refund Policy

Because credits are consumed immediately and irreversibly upon use, all credit purchases are final and non-refundable.

Once credits are added to your account, they cannot be converted back to money, transferred to another account, or exchanged for any other form of value.

In short: You buy credits, your bot uses them, and that usage cannot be undone. This is why we do not offer refunds for consumed or unused credits under normal circumstances.

4. Exception: Billing Errors

We will issue a full or partial refund if a verifiable billing error has occurred on our end. This includes:

  • Being charged more than once for the same credit purchase
  • Credits not being added to your account after a successful payment
  • A technical error in our billing system that resulted in an incorrect charge

If you believe a billing error has occurred, please contact us within 30 days of the transaction. We will investigate and, if confirmed, process a refund within 14 business days.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund for a billing error, contact us with the following information:

  • Your account email address
  • The date and amount of the transaction in question
  • A brief description of the issue

We aim to acknowledge every refund request within 3 business days and resolve it within 14 business days.

6. Account Closure

If you close your account, any remaining unused credits will be forfeited. Credits cannot be cashed out, transferred, or refunded upon account closure.

We recommend using your remaining credits before closing your account.

7. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback through your bank or payment provider without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account pending investigation. We encourage you to reach out to us directly so we can resolve any billing concerns quickly and fairly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify registered users via email and update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.

9. Governing Law

This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of Malta and forms part of our Terms of Service. For full legal details, see our Imprint.
